Over 90% of the web pages on the internet don’t get any organic search traffic. This means that for the vast majority of businesses, the only way people can access their website is through paid advertising or a direct referral. This is not what business owners have in mind when they build their websites.
Business owners expect people to be able to find their service when they make a search locally, because of the quality of their service. Unfortunately, this is not how a search engine works.
Web hosting, domain protection, fees, and other costs can exceed hundreds of dollars per year. A website that doesn’t get traffic, generate leads, or generate revenue is, therefore, a liability by definition.
